This motion project was the result of a three-month semiotics class. During this process - we were looking at how one may bring together different elements (both visual and conceptual) in order to create a new visual form. The task was to communicate a multi-faceted idea to the audience. My project because about lines of connection within the family unit - and I used typography as the lens through which to examine this. I saw a natural connection between connections within families, and how letters within a typeface family operate. I played with the visual 'faces' of letters and the similarities between these different family members.
